I saw a documentary on the making of that movie on Discovery Channel on how the leadin actor had to undergo all these training by top notch professionals in various fields e.g. horseback riding, history, using of weapons etc etc... it's really interesting and it made me tempted to go watch the movie itself. another actress that caught my eye was angelina jolie. she has the role of Alexandra's mother in the movie.
